Ricky Joefield is a community-rooted leader whose life reflects strong family values, practical service, and a deep commitment to development that works for people. Shaped by the realities of everyday Tobagonian life, he brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his representation of Darrel Spring/Whim.
With over 18 years of public service at Town & Country Planning, Ricky offers extensive technical knowledge in land management, infrastructure planning, and sustainable development. His experience allows him to understand community challenges from the inside out and to apply realistic, workable solutions that improve daily life.
Beyond the public sector, Ricky is an accomplished entrepreneur with more than a decade of business leadership. He owns and operates a sneaker and clothing store, a general services construction company, and a restaurant and lounge. Through these ventures, he has created employment, mentored young men, and demonstrated strong financial management and operational discipline.
A devoted father of four, Ricky is driven by a clear purpose: building a Tobago where the next generation can grow, thrive, and succeed at home. With his grandmother and close family still residing in Whim, he remains closely connected to the heartbeat of the community-its needs, its struggles, and its untapped potential.
His vision for Darrel Spring/Whim is people-centred and practical: quality infrastructure, safer roads, expanded youth opportunities, stronger support for small businesses, and sustainable development that uplifts every household.
