Kern "Barton" Alexis is a proud son of Plymouth whose life and leadership reflect discipline, service, and a deep commitment to community. Born and raised in Rabbit Lane, he embodies the values and resilience of the Plymouth/Black Rock area.
A devoted husband and father, Kern is a people-centred professional with proven experience in financial services, operations, and community development. His career spans both local and international roles, including top performance at the Bank Fund Staff Federal Credit Union in Washington, D.C., and leadership positions at Zen Apollo Luxury Apartments, JMMB Bank & Investment, and the Fish Processing Company of Tobago.
Kern has consistently invested in youth and community development. As co-founder of the Bago Sports Beach Football Tournament, he helped host Trinidad and Tobago's first international beach football event and supported the development of the Courland sporting facility.
