Biography
Keigon Kayleb Denoon is a respected community leader, youth development advocate, and public servant whose work is firmly rooted in people-centred progress. Known for his grounded leadership style, he has consistently focused on empowering youth, strengthening communities, and protecting Tobago's cultural identity.
He serves as Programme Administrator of the Youth Energised for Success (YES) Programme, where his leadership has expanded access to internships, professional development, mentorship, entrepreneurship support, and career-readiness training for young people across Tobago. Keigon has also worked directly with youth on job placement, workplace readiness, résumé preparation, and financial education, recognising that economic empowerment is key to long-term independence.
At the community level, Keigon has served as President of the Buccoo Village Council, playing a central role in revitalising key institutions and spaces. His contributions include the renewal of the Buccoo Goat and Crab Race Festival, the revival of the Buccoo Ballpark, advocacy for the paving of the Buccoo Cemetery, and support for the rebirth of the Buccoo Folk Theatre-strengthening culture, dignity, and community pride.
Academically accomplished, Keigon holds a BSc, MBA, LLB, and a Certificate in Industrial Relations, supported by training in leadership, governance, and community development. His approach blends strategy, empathy, and action.
